ANNUAL MEETING November 5th with Jerry Apps: This year’s annual meeting program will be held on Sunday, November 5th, from 1:30 – 3:30 PM at the Mequon Nature Preserve located at 8200 W. County Line Road in Mequon. The event is being sponsored jointly by The Mequon Nature Preserve, The Friends of Jonathan Clark House and the MT Historical Society. Jerry Apps appearance at this meeting is being underwritten by a generous member of our community. Born and raised on a Wisconsin farm, Jerry Apps is now Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. As the author of over 30 books about rural history and country life, Prof. Apps has chosen the title of his recent book, Never Curse The Rain: A Farm Boy’s Reflections On Water, as the title for his presentation. Mequon's 60th Anniversary Sunday, July 30TH: Come together to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Mequon. The event will be held at the Nieman Family Home on Cedarburg Road from Noon to 4 PM.
This is a totally free event sponsored by the MT Historical Society and includes free ice cream sundaes thanks to the TM Rotary Club and free children's games and prizes thanks to the MT Optimist Club,
Other free activities include Face Painting and Balloons (2-4 PM), lemonade and tours of the historic
